Hello to all the Wannabees

I am sure the ‘die hards’ were out and doing their thing on the bikes where as most of us were just cuddled up and happy to see the rain.

Lekka watching the 7’ns BOKS and ‘die BULLE’ doing their thing from the comfort of my armchair.

The nationals were held in Oudshoorn. No formal results have reached me at time of writing, so please keep me informed.

Hou duim vas!

Fietsry groete,

Ina van Zyl

Herewith a note from PPA

BACK NUMBERS AT MTB EVENTS

Please remember to bring and wear your PPA seeded number at all events, including MTB events. If you forget your number at home, you'll have to buy a back number at the event (either R5 for an unseeded number or R30 for a seeded number).

Additionally, all riders who are not members of either PPA or any affiliate of Cycling South Africa, will in future have to pay a R30 day license fee to CSA for all MTB routes over 20km, and all road routes over 40km.

Herewith some other reminders and news.

The club rides will still be coordinated on Saturdays and Sundays with the new starting time 07h00 at W/Stone village centre.

Please ensure that you have good front and back lights on your bike. There are still some riders with very poor lights on their bikes.

Riders who still want to join the DC training groups, contact John via the club e-mail or follow the training schedule on the blog.

The next training ride will be on the weekend of the 14th of June. More next week.

Wannabee Entry forms for club membership are available at Maverick cycle shop and Helderberg Cycle world.

Please put the blog address on your computer as a hotspot.
