Lyk my die reën het gekom en saam met dit ‘n bietjie lavenis teen die hitte.
Ek dink veral aan die EPIC deelnemers vir wie daar andersins baie stof en roet op die roete sou wees.
The formal training during weekdays is now over but club rides will still be organised for Saturdays and Sundays with the new starting time 06h30 at W/Stone village centre
Next week Sunday 29 March will be a family day for all the mothers, fathers, kids and hangers on. The program will be posted on the BLOG. Some prizes are on offer for the Argus riders that did well in their respective age groups and perhaps something extra. Coffee to be paid by the club for all attendees.
Please note that the ride will take on public roads and although the committee members will do all we can to secure a safe environment, the onus is still on you to make sure that we have no incidents on the road. Please come and join us on this ride.
The results of the ARGUS as posted on the blog and circulated might not have been complete, but it was quite a task to find all the members amongst the 30,000 odd names. Thanks to Charles and Michel. If you are not on the list, make sure that you are a paid up member or just reply to the club e-mail address so that we can update the list.
The EPIC is starting on our front door in Gordonsbay. Starting time for stage one to Villiersdorp is 07h00 Sunday 22 March in Main Rd Gordonsbay, from where they proceed up to the Steenbrasdam pump station. See the route on the EPIC website and for places to view the riders, go to the spectators icon where all the vantage points are noted. It is quite something to see this race.
The next item on the agenda is the DC. We are in need of team captains. We also need to know how many club members want to ride the DC event in November. Please reply to our e-mail address or to John Arnold direct. He is the DC convenor
