14 Riders better prepared for the Argus

Boyes Drive will cause a lot of problems during the Argus. This was the consent of 14 riders taking part in the "Pre-Argus"-Tour" organized by Hertzel and Volki.

The steep descent towards Kalk Bay Harbour must be a major concern for all 35.000 cyclists. If one tries to be clever and isn't 100% cautious it will lead to a mass fall.Compared to Hospital Bend this stretch is a lot narrower and a lot steeper. It has the making of a Tour de France stretch so everyone has to act professional.

Yesterdays tour was a good exercise for all 14 riders in excellent conditions.Again the Wannabees proved to be a particular breed. It started with helping one another with lifts to staying together over the 68 km's.And the coffee was enjoyed under palm trees in Kalk Bay.
