The Conservancy Walks for Wine on Saturday 14 August 2010 is free!
We would like you to experience a new walk in our repertoire. A path has been cleared on the slopes of the Hottentot Holland on Da Capo wine estate to form a section of the “about to be launched” Schapenberg Cycle route, a path which will be shared with “walks for wine”.
This path has hundreds of baby pine trees (20cm) surfacing after the rain in close proximity to the path. We invite you to join us explore this new route and help in the pulling of the baby pine. We will meet at Wedderwill winery at 09h00 proceed to the new route with stunning views over False bay and loads of emerging fynbos to admire. We plan to head down to Da Capo for a wine tasting (Idiom wines) around 12h30 and then on to Wedderwill winery for wine tasting and a picnic lunch (breads, cheese and pates) thereafter. Only costs will be for the wine tasting at R30/head/estate.
