| Description: | Route Description The long and medium routes take cyclists up Helderberg College Road and on a loop through the Helderview area, before heading off on the R44 towards Stellenbosch. Turn left from the R44 onto Annandale Road to the T-junction with the R310 (Drie Gewels), where the long & medium routes split. The 63km route turns right onto the R310 past Spier Wine Estate to the T-junction, and left onto the M12 onto Polkadraai Road to the R102. Cyclists turn left onto the R102, left at Macassar Road, and over the bridge onto the Main Road towards Somerset West. Cross the intersection at Lord Charles and turn left into Helderberg College Road to the finish. The 40km medium route turns left onto R310 and right onto the R102 at Faure where it joins the long route to the finish. The 14km short route heads straight out onto the R44, left onto Winery Road and onto the R102 to join up with the other routes back to the finish. Registration Registration will take place at the start venue on the day of the event. Cut off Time All support vehicles will be withdrawn from the routes at 10:45. General Breakfast will be available at R 15 a ticket.Please purchase yours at the event. |
