Hello to all the Wannabees

Not a great weekend for South African sport. Bad draw (in my opinion) for Bafana, cricket team lost one day series and the sevens got a massive clap.
Even Retief could not keep his lead on Sunday.

But…. a lekker Saturday and Sunday ride. One over Polka draai and one to Rooi Els and back. Each ride with between 30 and forty riders. Each with no mishaps. Thanks to Alf for driving the fast group and strusty Charles for sweeping at the back

These great rides in good company make up for all the negative results of the international sport teams .

At this early stage already more than 40 signed up members for the 2010 year. This includes a new member who was picked up by our meduim group on the Polka draai route. This is sign of a healthy group atmosphere if someone after one morning ride with us can see what the benefits are in joining a club.
Welcome Hannes.
