A guy out training was knocked down on Ou Kaaps yesterday pm & died later. He was doing nothing wrong and riding well within the yellow line! A motorist hit him from behind after veering into the yellow lane…….apparently the driver was not concentrating!
He was just 40yrs old with a wife & 2 young kids. His name is Craig Haskins. Spare a thought for his family through this time of sadness.

Hearing of this fatality makes me realise again how lucky I was with my accident last year. Please be vigilant & careful out there and don’t take for granted every day that you are blessed with.

Ps. If you go out riding please try not to ride alone if possible and carry some form of id. They struggled to find out who he was initially as he did not carry any identification.
